Overbury, the commercial office fit out and refurbishment specialist, has delivered a series of high-quality fit outs for British Sky Broadcasting (BSkyB), the leading provider of multichannel entertainment in the UK, at Great West House, its landmark main UK headquarters in Isleworth, Middlesex.
Overbury has completed an office strip-out and refurbishment of the BSkyB campus which is home to over 3,000 employees and all the work was carried out within live sites.
The project saw Overbury fit out 3,090 m2 over six floors to create a more open-plan environment for BSkyB’s employees. Facilities include meeting rooms, break-out areas and a new reception, a specialist IT equipment room and features such as a new raised floor to hide IT cables, new air-conditioning systems complete with new fan coil casings throughout and new lighting and fire alarm systems.
This contract follows Overbury’s successful upgrade of facilities across the Isleworth complex, including offices in the Sky 3 building; the refurbishment of showers and changing rooms in the Sky Gym fitness centre, and the creation of a mezzanine floor and new offices for the Sky Outside Broadcasting Unit.
