Office fit out specialist Overbury has successfully completed an office fit out scheme for global banking and finance group Société Générale at its offices in Bishops Square, London E1.
Throughout the 25-week programme of works, Overbury worked alongside programme manager Tectoniqua, architect ttsp and quantity surveyor Philip Pank Partnership to create the exciting contemporary fit out of 80,000 sq ft over two floors of office space to provide 400 new trading positions – the longest trading floor anywhere in Europe.
The fit out also included the creation of open plan and cellular office accommodation, a client meeting room suite, a new reception and stainless steel staircase to atrium, office service centres, breakout spaces and washroom facilities, as well as the fit out of basements and roof plantrooms.
