Overbury fit out new regional headquarters for WM Housing

Overbury worked alongside building consultancy GVA Grimley on the design element of the project, which saw the building completely reconfigured to meet the needs of WM Housing. Overbury also acted as furniture consultant.

WM Housing is one of the region’s largest social landlords, owning and managing more than 30,000 homes across the West Midlands, Herefordshire and Worcestershire

The new operation on Birmingham Business Park will be WM Housing Group’s main contact centre for its tenants having consolidated its three previous operations in Birmingham, Coventry and Worcester.

Chris Mellor, contracts manager at Overbury, said: “This was an important project for WM Housing Group and we have worked hard to create an office that meets the functional needs of the client as well as being a fantastic environment for those working there.

“As a social landlord, value for money is very much at the heart of WM Housing Group’s ethos so there is nothing overtly ostentatious about this project. The whole team worked together to ensure that, with thoughtful design, we delivered a great new workspace for the client.”
