At Overbury, our commitment to Health and Safety goes far beyond a written policy for use as a badge of honour – we eat, sleep and breathe health and safety. In fact, our motto is Work Safe, Home Safe – we progressively aim to improve the health and safety of our employees and assist those who work on our sites with us to do the same.

Our project teams are on site, on hand and in control of Health and Safety for each and every project. Our Advisors carry out regular inspections and work with project teams to ensure everyone is fully aware of on site health and safety requirements. When it comes to health and safety, the message from the top is that there’s nothing so important that should mean a compromise to our standards.

Health and Safety Awards

We’ve worked hard to reach where we are with our health and safety standards, and it hasn’t gone unnoticed.

In 2010 we received the RoSPA Gold Medal Award for Occupational Health and Safety – nothing to be sneezed at, we’re sure you’ll agree. We have also been awarded for our “outstanding contribution to health and safety training” by the CHSG.

Overbury are compliant with the BS OHSAS 18001:2007 industry standard for Health and Safety.
