An Overbury site team in Manchester have completed a mammoth 9,622km virtual bike ride from Eversheds Sutherland's new HQ in Manchester, to Eversheds Sutherland's Hong Kong office, raising £8,720 for Prevent Breast Cancer.

Law firm Eversheds Sutherland contracted Overbury to fit out their new Manchester office at 2 Bailey Square, Salford. Together, the project team came up with the idea to keep everyone fit and healthy on site during the coronavirus pandemic, and raise money for an extremely worthy cause at the same time. The Eversheds project team and consultants were an integral part of the fundraising efforts, adding over 1000kms to the journey.

Prevent Breast Cancer
will use the funds raised to continue to work with patients, researchers and leading scientists to predict and prevent breast cancer. They are also focused on spearheading a capital campaign to build The National Breast Imaging Academy in Manchester, which will serve two vital purposes: to address a national shortage in the breast imaging workforce and to cater for the increase in demand for breast services across Greater Manchester.

Well done to all involved!
