Overbury backs Mental Health World Cup 2019

Overbury is proud to be sponsoring the UK’s first Mental Health World Cup football tournament, to be held on 12 May 2019 at QPR’s Loftus Road Stadium. The tournament will have 20 five-a-side teams, from within the property and construction industries, play football and raise vital funds for the Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM), a UK charity leading a movement against male suicide.

“The health and wellbeing of our employees and subcontractors is of the upmost importance. We are proud to be supporting this event in aid of CALM and the vital work they do,” said Paul Brazier, Commercial Director of Overbury.

“We challenge everyone in the industry to get involved and help raise much-needed funds for CALM, as well as increase awareness of mental health within our industry.”

“This event is designed to bring men and football together to raise awareness and start conversations around mental health,” said Giancarlo Gaglione, founder of the Mental Health World Cup.
