An exemplar project, delivered collaboratively and efficiently; with challenging logistics, critical programme and aspirational quality standards.
We’ve been extremely impressed with Overbury. Your people were extremely professional and communication overall on the project was exceptional.
Wealth management specialist Endless LLP relocated to the ground floor office at Kings Court, Leeds. The building had recently undergone Cat A refurbishment, with Overbury’s Yorkshire team appointed to develop the original architect’s design for the Cat B fit out.
A high quality, flexible workspace to accommodate new ways of working was the client’s main priority. The programme was critical on this project – with an ambitious 10-week turnaround as a result of the sale of the firm’s existing offices.
Kings Court is located on the corner of a busy arterial road in the centre of Leeds. We needed a robust and carefully communicated logistics plan to ensure that deliveries could be made safely and with minimal disruption.
Quality management was critical during the build period due to the quantity of high specification bespoke joinery. We held design workshops, set up a mock up and sample area and agreed quality standards which we used for benchmarking. These benchmarks allowed us to replicate the agreed level of fit and finish, minimising snagging and allowing the client to move in immediately.
Along with the joinery installations, the scope of works included new internal partitioning, doors, ironmongery and decoration. In addition, modifications and extensions were carried out to the existing mechanical and electrical systems together with smart building commissioning.
