Home Case studies L'Oreal
We delivered a series of refurbishments that transformed outdated, underused spaces into refreshed environments that reflect L’Oréal’s identity and values.
“Reflecting on the last 12 months and looking back on the three projects as a whole, I think Overbury have done a superb job. There's been a really collaborative, team driven approach and I think the whole setup has gone really well for all of us.”
L’Oréal, a global leader in beauty, wanted to improve the working experience at three of their distribution centres, bringing consistency, comfort and brand alignment to sites in Trafford, Bury and Nottingham.
These spaces were in need of modernisation - the facilities had grown tired and no longer matched the high standards L’Oréal wanted to uphold. Our brief was to refresh these environments in a way that supported both the practical day to day running of the sites and the wellbeing of the teams who work in them.
Our works included the refurbishment of office areas, canteens, welfare zones and visitor spaces, all delivered in occupation. Health and safety and logistics were front and centre throughout, with robust segregation and coordination to allow normal operations to continue around the sites during the build. Regular inspections were carried out by both our own teams and L’Oréal’s, ensuring security and site operations remained unaffected.
We also helped L’Oréal maximise their investment by managing the budget closely across all three sites. With delivering on time being a key priority, we kept things moving smoothly by using the same team to deliver each hub one after the other.
Each distribution centre now benefits from modern, practical spaces that deliver a consistent level of quality and comfort for all teams, no matter where they’re based. The refurbished environments are more reflective of the L’Oréal brand and support both operational needs and the overall employee experience.
