Home Case studies SEGRO
SEGRO's new Coventry office reflects their ambition, celebrates their legacy and brings people together in a bright, well connected workspace. We designed a bespoke environment that balances style with practicality, with a layout that supports a range of working styles.
“Having a strong presence in the markets in which we operate is important to us, and this modern, well-located space in Coventry ticks all the boxes. A great achievement for all involved.”
SEGRO, a leading owner, asset manager and developer of modern warehousing and industrial property, appointed us to deliver the fit out of their newly acquired 12th floor space at Two Friargate, Coventry. The move from Rugby into the heart of Coventry offered better transport links, a more vibrant setting and a chance to reimagine their workspace from the ground up in a 7,040 sq ft office overlooking several of their own local developments.
SEGRO wanted an airy, bright and welcoming office that reflected their brand, enhanced employee experience and made the most of the views.
We worked closely with SEGRO to create a layout that encourages collaboration while providing quiet spots for focus. The floorplan includes hot desks, breakout areas, private meeting rooms and a boardroom, all centred around a relaxed work café that spills out onto the terrace.
Materials and finishes were chosen with care. A living wall at the entrance brings natural texture into the space, setting the tone for a calm and refined atmosphere. Dried pampas grass and soft neon in the breakout area offer a peaceful contrast to the more corporate zones. Wood tones add warmth, while a mix of living and artificial plants help support wellbeing throughout.
SEGRO’s existing furniture was successfully integrated into the design. This not only reduced costs but also boosted sustainability, something that was key to the project from the start, helping the project achieve SKA Gold certification.
The nine week fit out was delivered to a high standard, which delighted the team at SEGRO. Health and safety performance exceeding expectations and passing all internal and external safety audits without a single non conformity, reflecting the team's precision and attention to detail.
