Bristol workspace full of local character

Dojo set out to create a standout regional office in the heart of Bristol that would help attract local talent and showcase the brand’s vibrant, people first culture. We delivered a stylish and functional workplace that was awarded Best Fit Out of Workspace at the 2025 regional BCO Awards.

Payment technology provider Dojo wanted a destination office where employees would feel connected, comfortable and inspired, and where the brand’s energy and identity could be felt throughout. The new space needed to reflect Dojo’s culture while giving staff the flexibility to collaborate, socialise or focus.

A bold brief for a regional hub

Following the success of our previous fit out of Dojo’s London HQ, we were trusted to bring their vision to life again, incorporating locally inspired design features into a stylish space while being sensitive to the existing tenants on other floors.

We delivered a dynamic, multipurpose workplace to floors five and six of the EQ building in central Bristol. The fifth floor was designed with a strong operational focus for Dojo’s contact centre, featuring open plan workspaces, collaboration zones, meeting rooms, huddle spaces and a dedicated area for understanding the customer experience. This floor also includes training rooms and product displays where teams and clients can explore and engage with the Dojo brand.

The sixth floor has an emphasis on social spaces, with a vibrant social hub featuring a manned barista bar and a flexible town hall space. A bold reception area with lounge style seating welcomes guests and sets the tone for the rest of the office. Nearby, a boardroom and event space offer room for everything from small workshops to company-wide events. Across the space, we delivered smart storage solutions including lockers and coat cupboards to support day to day function.

A striking feature staircase in steel and timber links the two floors, offering a dramatic focal point and encouraging easy flow between zones. Kvadrat acoustic ceilings panels and acoustic wall treatments support both the space’s aesthetics and the working environment for contact centre staff. Artworks created by local talent were hand finished on site, reinforcing a connection to Bristol’s cultural identity.

An award winning result

Dojo is delighted with the finished workspace, which reflects their values and aspirations. The fit out was delivered with minimal disruption to neighbouring tenants and has already received industry recognition, winning the 2025 BCO Award for Fit out of Workspace in the South of England and South Wales region.
