After a period of significant growth and the creation of a global two-firm network, Forvis Mazars needed a larger office that matched its ambitions in Birmingham and encouraged collaboration and innovation. They approached us with a brief to design and deliver a workspace that would bring people together and provide a destination for employees, clients and partners.

Spaces for every task

Our solution focused on flexibility, wellbeing and creating a sense of belonging for teams across the region. An open plan layout forms the backbone of the space, complemented by a welcoming reception and client lounge that doubles as an event venue. Training zones, private booths, virtual meeting suites and formal rooms give teams the ability to choose the best setting for their work.

A dedicated innovation suite provides a shared resource for other offices, offering wider value across the business. An impressive multi faith room reinforces the company’s focus on creating an inclusive environment.

Forvis Mazars wanted the office to reflect its commitment to Birmingham through local touches, so all of the meeting rooms have been named after Cadbury’s chocolate bars.

Managing logistics in a busy city centre

The prime city centre location came with height restrictions limiting vehicle access, meaning goods often had to be transferred onto estate buggies and moved to a delivery bay positioned some distance from site. Additional restrictions on platform and goods lifts meant materials had to be reduced in size before transport. With experience in similar environments, our team introduced a detailed booking system to keep deliveries smooth and predictable.
