Home Case studies Havas
Havas, one of the world's largest global communications groups, set out to deliver a workplace that champions collaboration and enables creativity to thrive. With teams previously spread across multiple buildings and layouts that limited interaction, the move to Manchester’s Circle Square presented an opportunity to bring Havas agencies from across the city together in a single Havas Village designed to support shared ideas, creative exchange and a stronger sense of belonging.
“Overbury are head and shoulders above any other contractor I have ever worked with. I would 100 percent work with you again, you would be my first port of call for any future projects.”
Havas wanted a vibrant, open workplace that makes it easy for people to come together, share ideas and build energy across teams. Working closely with Blue Sky Design, we developed and delivered a scheme with collaboration built into everyday movement through the space. A central social hub encourages informal interaction, while a dedicated business lounge provides a quieter setting for more focused conversations and creative thinking.
The workplace offers a wide mix of spaces, with informal areas for quick conversations to private rooms for more formal meetings. Mechanical and electrical systems were extensively reworked so the building services aligned with the new layout and supported daily use.
Planting is integrated throughout to soften the environment and create a natural point of interest. Behind the reception desk, a media wall displays project content which strengthens the brand experience for visitors and colleagues.
By bringing multiple locations together under one roof, Havas' new workplace has strengthened connection across disciplines and improved how teams collaborate. The range of settings gives people the freedom to choose how and where they work, helping ideas develop naturally and supporting a more open, creative working culture.
