Made up of multiple buildings over 21 acres, Wellington Place has become a thriving business community, with state of the art offices, independent restaurants, leisure facilities and events. The scheme’s developer, MEPC, wanted to enhance the experience for tenants of 11 & 12 Wellington Place and the wider neighbourhood.

Having delivered several projects at 11 & 12 Wellington Place, we were trusted by MEPC to create a welcoming business lounge on the ground floor where people can meet colleagues, clients and guests without passing through secure areas.

Built on sustainable foundations

Delivered in occupation, the business lounge is a smart technology enabled, flexible environment. It reflects the innovation of 11 & 12 Wellington Place, the most energy efficient building in Leeds, having achieved BREEAM Outstanding and a five star NABERS rating.

The lounge combines coworking areas, informal meeting zones and refreshment facilities with a new tea point and bar. A terrace, complete with planters and new furniture, extends the experience outdoors, offering a versatile setting for work and social connection. We also installed new floors, walls and ceilings, bespoke joinery and lighting, as well as making modifications to MEP services and installing new bathroom facilities.
