A night of success at BPIC Network Awards 2023

We attended the third BPIC Network Awards 2023 for an evening where Giancarlo Gaglione, Overbury's Head of Innovation, won the Industry Role Model award. There was also recognition in the Community Project of the Year category.

Giancarlo walked away with the Industry Role Model award as recognition of a decade of campaigning to raise awareness for mental health and suicide prevention, leading the way with his newly registered charity, The Mental Health World Cup. In 2023, the five-a-side football tournament raised over £111,000 for mental health charities including CALM.

We'd also like to recognise the incredible achievements of Georgina Murphy, Georgia Veevers and their team who were nominated in the Community Project of the Year category for their social value initiatives at Stopford House for Stockport Race Equality Partnership and Stockport Metropolitan Borough Council.
