Home Case studies Morgan Sindall Infrastructure
Morgan Sindall Infrastructure's new head office at Cooper House in Coventry brings colleagues together in a modern, flexible workplace designed to strengthen collaboration, wellbeing and connection.
Morgan Sindall Infrastructure, our sister company, wanted to create a sense of community and togetherness by transforming their new Coventry office into a destination for staff members. We designed and built a refurbished space that brings people together with a focus on relationships, inclusivity and wellbeing.
Inspired by nature, the design incorporates biophilic features and calming colours create a welcoming and productive environment. Different flooring finishes and furniture selections help define zones across the office, creating a clear sense of identity while maintaining an open and connected feel through an intuitive layout.
The refurbishment created a range of formal and informal spaces that give colleagues the freedom to choose how and where they work. A library room hidden behind a secret door concealed within a bookshelf brings character to the workplace, creating a memorable experience for visitors and colleagues.
Alongside the workplace improvements, the building benefited from new mechanical and electrical services, upgraded core facilities and improvements to external areas, including EV charging infrastructure. Braille signage promotes independence for people with visual impairments, helping ensure the whole office is welcoming and easy to navigate for everyone.
The project also created opportunities to benefit the local community. Career workshops delivered in partnership with St Basil's and The Shaw Trust provided young people from the local area with valuable insight into careers in the construction industry, helping introduce future talent to the sector.
Morgan Sindall Infrastructure now has a high quality space that embodies its culture and ambitions. With a strong focus on people, flexibility and wellbeing, the refurbished workplace creates an environment where colleagues can come together, collaborate and feel part of a shared community.
