MSc in Sustainable Development, University of Exeter
James has worked for Overbury and Morgan Lovell for the past nine years, following completing a masters in Sustainable Development. James is responsible for ensuring waste management within the company is both legal and sustainable, with a special focus on reuse; and he has been spearheading the companies’ drive to embrace the Circular Economy.
James leads Overbuy and Morgan Lovell’s drive to be Net Zero Carbon by 2030, including measuring our full Scope 1,2 and 3 emissions and identifying areas for reduction. James is also involved with the development and use of our Embodied Carbon Calculator Tool, CarboniCa, and is working with our design and project teams to reduce the embodied carbon of our projects.
James is involved in ensuring both companies continue to be certified to ISO 14001 including auditing our construction projects and keeping abreast of new environmental legislation. James has delivered a range of BREEAM, LEED and SKA projects including six BREEAM Outstanding ratings.
