Our Manchester-based team and fit out partners have earned ‘Project of the Year’ at industry awards for two fabulous new offices.

We’re delighted to be part of the delivery team recognised with not one but two Mixology North Project of the Year awards. These well-earned industry accolades celebrate the very best of products, people and projects within commercial interiors. Selected by a panel of independent industry experts, RCP in Liverpool and Eversheds Sutherland in Manchester each took home the ceremony’s most coveted title in the +70k sq ft and 30-70k sq ft categories respectively.

RCP - Project of the Year: Workplace Interiors +70k sq ft

The Spine is the new £35 million northern home for the Royal College of Physicians (RCP) in Paddington Village at the heart of Liverpool’s Knowledge Quarter. Working closely with RCP, AHR and CBRE, we fit out a 151,000 sq ft office, education and conference space with the aim to attract and retain a highly-skilled workforce.

This exemplary workspace is one of the healthiest workspaces in the UK for mental health and wellbeing. It was designed and fit out to achieve three rigorous global accreditations for maximum occupant health and minimal environmental impact - WELL Platinum Standard, and it on track to achieve BREEAM Excellent (The Spine shell and core) and BREEAM Outstanding (RCP fit out). The workplace has also made history as the first Grade A office to be built in Liverpool City in over a decade.

Eversheds Sutherland - Project of the Year: Workplace Interiors 30-70k sq ft

Global law firm Eversheds Sutherland took the opportunity presented by a relocation to introduce new ways of working for its Manchester-based employees. Together with BDP and Faithful & Gould, we created an agile environment that focuses on employee wellbeing, collaboration and connection. The diverse work setting encourages greater physical and visual connectivity between staff across different floors, which is ideal for boosting engagement levels in the all-new environment.

Manchester’s distinctive cityscape and industrial heritage can be seen throughout the space, reflected in the high-quality finishes, fixtures and fittings. The modern, urban aesthetic is brought to life with the use of exposed ceilings, metals and neutral tones as a backdrop. This is certainly an office to be proud of.
