Two shortlisted for Women In Construction awards

Georgia Veevers has been nominated for the One to Watch Award at this year's Design & Build UK Women In Construction Awards. This award recognises her promise and dedication in her role as a Trainee Project Manager.

Georgia hopes the award will inspire others, stating, "not many women are aware of the various roles the construction industry has to offer. Therefore, going into schools and colleges to talk about the industry could attract more females."

Georgina Murphy, Social Value Manager for our Northern team, has been shortlisted for the Community Hero Award, which celebrates women who have gone above and beyond to make a difference in their communities and the construction industry.

The ceremony will take place on 26th September 2024. We wish both of them the best of luck.
