Home News Overbury projects victorious at BCO regional awards
Thursday, 4th May 2023
We're very proud to have been involved in the delivery of projects that were winners at the BCO regional awards.
Five Bank Street received the London ESG award for its commitment to generating a positive social and environmental impact. Incorporating 16 social value KPIs, collaborating with charities, and reducing waste were central to this fit out. The use of materials passports for disassembly, and the office's BREEAM and WELL ratings impressed the judges. We worked on this project alongside BNP Paribas Real Estate, Canary Wharf Group, Chapmanbdsp, Hoare Lea, Perkins&Will, SOM, Turner & Townsend.
The South West and South Wales ESG award was given to Here + Now in Reading, two neighbouring net zero carbon buildings with BREEAM Outstanding certification. Our partners on this project were AWW Architects, Clarke Bond, Eight Associates, Elliott Wood, Element 4 Group, Furness Partnership, Hawkins Brown, Hoare Lea, Lambert Smith Hampton Group, TFT Consultants, Tuffin Ferraby Taylor, URBANSPACE Planning, V7 Asset Management.
The London Innovation award went to Convene at 22 Bishopsgate, a hybrid workplace that merges meeting and events spaces with co-working zones. The judges praised its scale, design quality, and high-tech amenities. Our partners were Axa, Gardiner & Theobald, Hayne Tillett Steele, Troup Bywaters + Anders, Woods Bagot.
In the north, Stopford House was recognised with the Corporate Workplace award. This flexible and collaborative workplace focuses on affordability, sustainability and inclusivity, and has resulted in a place that people are excited to work at. We helped deliver this project with AECOM, Charles Andrews Ltd, Cundall, Dudleys Consulting Engineers, FWP UK, Hive Group, Hurstwood Environmental Consulting, Pagabo, SpaceInvader.
Congratulations to the teams and our partners for this recognition of their hard work on the projects.
