Overbury puts in a very resilient performance to Parent Group Results

Overbury’s contribution to Parent Group results demonstrates the high quality of the Fit Out business.

As part of the Fit Out division, national fit out and refurbishment specialist Overbury is proud to have continued to contribute to the success of Morgan Sindall Group's 2020 full year results for the year ended 31 December 2020 released today (25 February 2021).

Morgan Sindall Group demonstrated resilience in the face of the COVID pandemic, delivering an adjusted operating profit of £68.5m (FY 2019: £93.1m) on revenue of £3.0bn (FY 2019: £3.1bn). The Group reported a secured order book of £8.3bn, up 9% year-on-year. With a strengthened balance sheet and net cash of £333m (FY 2019: £193m), the Group has ended 2020 with real momentum. It now expects profit to be materially ahead of its previous expectations and slightly ahead of that delivered in 2019.

“Our commitment to delivering exceptional service and high quality fit outs in COVID-safe environments has been a driving force for the business during these unprecedented times. We’re enormously grateful and thankful to everyone at Overbury, because they have worked tirelessly through this challenging year to serve our clients, support each other and maintain our reputation. We’re proud of the part we’ve played in contributing to our parent company’s results during this challenging year,” says Chris Booth, managing director of Overbury.
