Dr Joe Croft and Zoë Glander from Overbury's environmental team are part of an industry-wide team driving the new UK Net Zero Carbon Buildings Standard.

Leading industry organisations BBP, BRE, the Carbon Trust, CIBSE, IStructE, LETI, RIBA, RICS and UKGBC have joined forces to lead and develop the UK's first Net Zero Carbon Buildings Standard. The new standard will provide a single agreed definition and methodology for the industry to determine what constitutes a net zero carbon building.

As well as industry bodies, the process is being led by influential organisations in the fit out sector, including Overbury.

The initiative includes groups focused on providing their expertise to specific sectors. Zoë is part of both the Office Sector Group and Higher Education Group, the latter of which Dr Joe Croft is chairing.
