We’re proud to have helped in the delivery of three winning projects at the BCO Regional Awards 2022.

In London, our fit out of Dojo at the Brunel Building won Fit Out of Workplace. Our partners on this project were BDG, Cushman & Wakefield, AECOM, Arup Group and Derwent London.

BCO called it ‘an excellent example of a workplace embracing the base build to create an environment to support and represent the brand and culture of the business’ and that ‘all spaces within the design were purposeful with no space wasted’.

Our fit out of the Royal College of Physicians at The Spine in Liverpool was triumphant in the Innovation category for the North of England, North Wales and Northern Ireland. Our partners on this project were AHP, CBRE and the Liverpool City Council.

The BCO North judges agreed that ‘The Spine is an outstanding and innovative example of using workplace design to support cultural change, whilst providing a highly sustainable built environment and protecting the wellbeing of those that interact with it’.

Finally, the victor of the Innovation category in the South of England and South Wales award was our work on the Now Building in Reading for Baumont Real Estate Capital Limited. We worked on this project with V7, TFT, Hawkins\Brown and Hoare Lea.

The judging panel said that ‘with net zero carbon both in operations and in embodied carbon of building materials production, as well as an impressive BREEAM outstanding rating, this development has truly put sustainability front and centre. The BCO judging panel commends the focused approach of this impressive refurbishment and the focus on carbon, especially how the building, together with its partner development, could minimise their impact on the planet by reducing whole life carbon emissions’.
